Tia Allen

Born in Italy, American violist Tia Allen has performed in Europe, Asia and both North and South America in venues that include Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall, Teatro Nacional and the Royal Opera House Muscat.

A veteran of the Aspen Music Festival and School, she is a graduate of University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music, where she received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree and was a two-time winner of the school’s Geraldine Gee Competition. She also holds a Professional Studies Certificate in Orchestral Performance from Manhattan School of Music.

Currently living in New York, Ms. Allen has performed with such diverse artists as Julia Fischer, Paul Gemignani, George Manahan, Phillipe Entremont, Lorin Maazel, Seal and Cee-Lo Green.
