Eddy Malave


Violist Eddy Malave has performed as a soloist, chamber musician and as an orchestral member throughout Asia, Europe, he Middle East, North and South America. He frequently performs with the Se Jong Soloists, Orchestra of St. Lukes, New York City Ballet, American Ballet Theater, the New York City Opera and numerous Broadway shows including The Phantom of the Opera. 

He has also had the honor to perform for President Bill Clinton at the Middle East peace talks, Pope Benedict at St. Patrick’s Cathedral and worked with diverse artist as Placido Domingo, Renee Fleming, Deborah Voight, Elton John, Billy Joel, Patti Lupone, Bryan Adams, Andrea Bocelli, and Dimitri Rostropovich, to name a few.

He earned his Bachelor’s and Master's degrees from The Juilliard School, where he was the recipient of the William Gluck fellowship.

Currently Mr. Malave is on faculty at Third Street Music Settlement and New York University Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development
