Drew Alexander Forde


Violist Drew Alexander Forde has performed extensively and with great acclaim throughout the United States and abroad. His solo engagements include a performance of the Walton Viola Concerto with both the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra. As a chamber musician, he has performed with the St. Lawrence String Quartet and Nadja Salerno-Sonnenberg.

He has attended several international festivals including the Brevard International Music Festival, Bowdoin International Music Festival, Montecito International Music Festival, Rome Chamber Music Festival and the Sejong International Music Festival.

Born in Atlanta, Georgia, he began his viola studies at age twelve and later pursued studies at the Robert McDuffie Center for Strings at Mercer University (BM) and at The Juilliard School (MM).

Mr. Forde is extremely involved in educating diverse audiences about classical music through his live and interactive social media performances.
