Hassan Anderson

A graduate of Stetson University and The Juilliard School American, oboist Hassan Anderson has been described as an “energetic and insightful artist”. His teachers have included Ann Adams, Nathan Hughes, Pedro Diaz, Elaine Douvas and Linda Strommen.

Dedicated to music education and pedagogy, he is currently a Teaching Artist with Jazz House Kids and the Link Community School of Newark, New Jersey.

Mr. Anderson is third year fellow of the prestigious Marlboro Music Festival, where he performs alongside artists that include Jonathan Biss, Michael Tree, Charles Neidich, Soovin Kim, Viviane Hagner, Lera Auerbach, William Bolcom, Benita Valente, Samuel Rhodes, Kim Kashkashian, Mitsuko Uchida and Richard Goode to name a few. Currently he is a member of the innovative SHUFFLE Concert Ensemble and Ensemble du Monde.
